Don’t come closer, you’ll see what I’ve done in the dark I finally drew some blood. Paint the stars Into the ocean Drag them down to my level So I have some light To see in the darkness

A storm coming down your heart turns over to a darker side

Something that is Well enough I don’t know what it Means anymore To have a heart Within a home

When you leave me at least pretend it wasn't easy

I’m stuck with this smile composed of glass fracturing with every false twist of the lips but I tilt those corners  up anyways

Drinking down The sun Warm light To burn away The darkness From inside Someday I will Glow Like a mellow candle Or a crackling flame
